Fried Pork Chops

Fried pork chops are a classic favorite dish, and they are usually dredged through seasoned flour, fried in several inches of grease, and smothered in a fat-laden gravy. While we agree that the method is certainly delicious. This recipe to give you all the flavors of the classic dish without so much fat. We use a mere 1/3 cup of flour for four pork chops, and fry them in just 2 tablespoons of olive oil. A lovely sauce is made using wine and chicken stock and, along with petite green peas and roasted potatoes and onions, creates a mouth-watering meal with all the taste of the classic favorite dish.

Quiche Lorraine

Once you master this classic recipe, there's no quiche you can't make. Spinach artichoke? Caprese? BOTH PLEASE! Make your crust if you have time, this all-butter recipe is perfectly flaky and super easy to make yourself. (It's pretty similar to classic pie crust, minus the sugar.) You definitely won't regret taking the time to make it. That said, store-bought pre-made pie crust will work, too. Cheese is essential for Quiche Lorraine. We like to use Gruyere, but a good shredded Swiss will work too.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

The best meatloaf is tender, not a dense brick. Adding breadcrumbs and milk helps keep the meatloaf tender while adding moisture, and the egg will bind it all together. However, the way in which you work the ingredients together will make a big difference in the final outcome. Much like creating a great meatball, you have to be careful about overworking the meat. If you squish the ground beef or work it excessively your meatloaf will get dense

Easy Slow Cooker Chili

Come home to the best homemade chili! It’s an amazingly hearty, cozy beef chili that cooks low and slow for 8 hrs in the crockpot! Is it too late in the year to still be whipping up crockpot recipes? Anyway, I’m letting this chili cook low and slow, filling up the house with the best kind of aroma: beef chili. All you need to do is crumble up your ground beef and then dump the rest of your ingredients in your slow cooker. And if you have a saute function in your crockpot, you have yourself a true one-pot wonder. But as I’m waiting for this to finish cooking through, I’ve also gone through an entire bag of corn chips. You know, the corn chips that were meant to be used for a garnish here.

Ground Beef Stroganoff

Comforting and humble, this One Pot Ground Beef Stroganoff is full of beefy flavor. And there is only one pot to clean up after dinner! People are now in the season of needing fast, easy meals as the holiday season gears up, and this is always one of my go-to's. This ground beef stroganoff is the perfect one-pot meal. I love that there are fewer dishes to do, and I love how much flavor gets infused with the pasta when you cook it in broth and onion and even the ground beef drippings. The final dish is super flavorful and comforting – just like beef stroganoff should be. You need a large skillet with a lid for this recipe.
