Homestyle Meatloaf

Meatloaf freezes beautifully. Slice it first and take it along for work lunches. Some people will tell you they make meatloaf just for the leftovers! Warmed with gravy or cold with ketchup, everyone has a favorite. This recipe is by far the best one. The BBQ sauce and basting oil make this meatloaf unforgettable. People who don't normally like meatloaf, love this one.

Ingredients :
  • 8 oz. Half glaze, warmed
  • 1 1/4 cups Bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 4 1/2 tbsp. BBQ Sauce, divided
  • 2 tbsp. Oil
  • 1/2 cup Chopped onions
  • 2 Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 pound 80/20 Lean ground beef
Directions :
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Adds beef, eggs, onion, oil, 2 1/2 Tbsp BBQ sauce, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs to a large bowl. Mix with hands to combine. Form into loaf shape; center on the baking sheet.
  2. Bake 30 min. Remove from oven; top with remaining 2 Tbsp BBQ sauce. Return to oven; bake, 25-30 min, or until internal temp reaches 160 degrees F.
  3. Serve with warmed half glaze.
