Ham Lasagna
Ham Lasagna is creamy and rich with lots of cheese. It's a wonderful twist on lasagna and a great way to use up leftover ham. In fact, I think this is my favorite way to use up leftover Easter ham.
Ingredients :
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked according to packgae directions
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 1/2 to 3 cups diced ham
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
- pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 3 oz. cream cheese, cut into chunks
- 2 cups whole milk
- 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- salt and pepper
- 1 (8-ounce) package white mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 tbsp. butter
