Gluten Free Korean Turkey and Rice Bowl

Gluten-Free Korean Turkey and Rice Bowl is a delicious quick-cooking dinner that can be used with your leftover rice. This gluten-free Korean ground turkey rice bowl recipe is simple and easy to make. It is sweet, salty, with just a hint of heat. It isn’t “spicy”, just full of flavor. Because of the caramelized brown sugar and tamari sauce on the meat, you really can’t tell that it is turkey and not ground beef.

Ingredients :
  • Cooked rice
  • Fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 tsp. Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground ginger
  • 2 tsp. Minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup Gluten-free soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 pound Lean ground turkey
Directions :
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, break up the ground turkey and brown.
  2. Once the turkey is browned and cooked through, add the brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Cook and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Serve over rice and garnish with cilantro.
