  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet or yellow onion

  • 1 frozen deep dish pie crust
Directions :
  1. Preheat oven to 375℉. Prick the bottom of the pie crust with a fork. Bake for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, in a nonstick pan melt butter. Add onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. Cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and half-and-half.
  4. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, ham, onion mixture, and cheese. Stir to mix. Pour into pie crust.
  5. Place pie crust on a baking sheet and place in oven. Bake 40 to 45 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
