Pancakes are another delicious and traditional option for a family breakfast. However, after one serving of these Classic Belgian Waffles, you will add this recipe to the top of your weekend breakfast lineup.

Ingredients :
  • Fresh fruit
  • Maple syrup, for serving
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Instant or quick-rising yeast
  • 1 3/4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 2 Large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbsp. Honey
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter, melted
Directions :
  1. Whisk together milk, butter, honey, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl until well combined. Add flour, yeast, and salt; whisk until mostly smooth. Cover with plastic wrap, and chill 8 hours or up to overnight.
  2. Pour about 1/3 cup batter for each waffle into a preheated, lightly greased (with cooking spray) Belgian-style waffle maker; cook according to manufacturer’s instructions until waffles are golden brown and crisp, 4 to 5 minutes. Keep warm in a single layer on a baking sheet in a 200°F oven up to 30 minutes. Serve with syrup and fruit.
