Amazing Apple Pie Bites

All the taste of apple pie without all the work! Since they are cooked individually without sitting under a ton of wet filling they crisp up beautifully for the perfect flakey bite every time! This individual serving apple pie recipe (also known as apple hand pies) is made with canned apple filling and refrigerated pie crust, making it dead simple, and they still taste great!

Ingredients :
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tbsp. milk
  • 6 tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • sugar
  • cinnamon
  • 21 oz. apple pie filling
  • 2 refrigerated pie crusts
Directions :
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Unroll first pie crust. Using a 3 1/2 inch cookie cutter, cut 7 circles of crust. Repeat with second crust.
  2. Roll out pie crust scraps and cut two more circles, making 16 total. Place one slice of apple pie filling on each crust circle.
  3. Fold crust in half and pinch closed around the apple slice. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown and flakey.
  4. Meanwhile, melt butter and whisk in powdered sugar, vanilla, and half a tablespoon milk to make a loose frosting for drizzling.
  5. Allow pie bites to cool, then drizzle with glaze.
