Air Fryer Greek Turkey Burgers

Sharp raw garlic, fresh herbs and tangy feta cheese superbly flavor these turkey burgers. Since the patties are air-fried with very little oil, there's room to add a bit of olive oil to the meat to keep the patties from drying out.

Ingredients :
  • 2 whole-wheat burger buns, split and toasted
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ½ tbsp. red-wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • ½ cup baby spinach leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh oregano
  • 1½ tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 8 oz. ground turkey breast
Directions :
  1. Lightly coat air-fryer basket with cooking spray.
  2. Combine turkey, oil, oregano, red pepper, salt and garlic in a bowl. Mix well. Form the mixture into 2 ( ½-inch-thick) patties. Place in the prepared air-fryer basket and cook at 360°F until a thermometer registers 155°F, 13 to 15 minutes, turning once during cooking.
  3. Toss spinach, onion, and vinegar together. Divide feta among top and bottom halves of buns. Place the burgers on the bottom halves of the buns. Top with the spinach mixture and the bun tops.
