Lunch

Deep-Dish All-American Cinnamon Apple Pie

This pie gets its intense apple flavor from macerating the apples in sugar for an hour. The liquid drained from the apples are simmered with a hit of butter until a syrup forms. That rich syrup is mixed with the apples, piled into the crust, and baked until tender and delicious. The pie is excellent the day it’s made, but even better the next day. Interestingly, this pie was developed to be “slimmer, trimmer, but just as tasty” as its double-crusted counterpart. Bigger is not necessarily better, and neither is sweeter. Not convinced? Try a slice. You’ll see.

Quick Chicken Pie

What’s amazing about this Chicken Pot Pie is that you can make the flavor of it whatever you wish. Of course, it will remind of chicken because it is made from chicken, but spices… they are your choice. Pick your favorite spices and herbs and make your unique Chicken Pot Pie.

Best ever Waffles

Are you ready for the Best Waffles Recipe EVER?! These golden-brown, crispy, irresistibly fluffy waffles turn out perfectly every time! They’re made completely from scratch and freeze beautifully! How long you cook the waffles for, as well as how many you make, will depend on the waffle iron you’re using. I advise you to preheat your oven to 120℃ before you start so that you can pop the waffles on a wire rack over a baking sheet as you make them, to keep them warm. This also helps to give them a lovely crisp crust.

Grandma’s Buttermilk Waffles

Grandma’s incredible, classic buttermilk waffles are made with simple ingredients for the fluffiest homemade waffles that are perfectly crispy on the outside. Top them with fresh berries and a drizzle of pure maple syrup for the best breakfast or brunch! You can add in additional ingredients such as 1 cup fresh blueberries, 1/2 cup coconut, 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips, a dash of cinnamon, or whatever you'd like. I always spray my waffle iron with cooking spray before cooking each batch, I recommend doing the same.

Dinner

Shrimp Salad Stuffed Avocados

This is one of my husband's favorites, even though it's pretty enough to serve at a ladies luncheon. When I needed a quick main-dish salad for my book club, I just tripled the recipe and got raves! Try it with imitation crabmeat, too. For a salty punch, top these babies off with crumbled feta. You deserve it.

Perfect Waffles

Waffles with Berries and Cream! Garnish and Glaze. My favorite way to eat waffles is with berries and homemade whipped cream. The syrup is good (especially homemade) but fresh berries are a refreshing delight and perfect for the summer. And it’s just so pretty with all that color! Plus you’re getting all those vitamins and antioxidants from the berries. Waffles with Berries and Cream | Garnish and GlazeIf you have leftover waffles you can store them in the fridge for up to 2 days or stack them between layers of wax paper and place them in a large ziplock bag to freeze. Just pop them out of the freezer and toast for a quick and easy breakfast. Enjoy!

Bacon and Leek Deep-Dish Quiche

Leave no holiday guest hungry with this magnificent tart. Your Easter brunch already features some delectable bites, but this deep-dish quiche will take the decadence to a whole new level. Every component of this dish makes it mouthwatering: The bacon adds a salty, smoky element; the gruyere cheese offers a nice sharp flavor that cuts through the rich cream, and the leeks are the perfect hint of sweet and spicy. The secret to this grand plate is to blind-bake the crust so it gets that gorgeous golden-brown color and comes out nice and flaky. Oh, and one of the best parts about this larger-than-life quiche? It tastes downright delicious served warm, at room temperature, or even cold.
